Moving This Week-ish to beehiiv inspired me to finally doing something with my lifelong obsession with my all-time favorite TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer (or BtVS as you will come to know it) and the leadership and life lessons to be learned from it. So, first things first, join me on this journey if you’re interested!
Say no more, you’re in for Buffy Life Lessons by Elisa Camahort Page????

what’s my plan? and why?
After eating my own dog food and going through Optionality’s Roadmap to Restoration Q1 Sprint, I realized I needed to do something that was for fun, something that brought me joy. I have longed noodled on the idea of writing a book about Buffy Life Lessons. But after finishing (finally) my book proposal, I started to think that I really didn’t want to write another book. Or maybe, more accurately, I didn’t want to promote another book, especially if anyone else (e.g. a publisher) had a vested interest in the outcome. So, why not something else entirely? Something that used only the one social platform I’m enjoying right now (Threads), added something blog-like (this newsletter), and did something totally unexpected like offer tarot readings with my handy-dandy Buffy tarot deck! (Link to schedule a reading to come!)
So, here’s the plan:

a final word
In case you’re wondering: Yes. I will talk about what a disappointing, and truly traitorous, person Buffy’s auteur turned out to be. That’s really the first life lesson Buffy teaches us: Don’t make people into heroes or saviors or paragons. They will disappoint you. And you will need to replace them on their pedestals. With someone who may disappoint you too.
